One of the most useful tools underused by groups today is the fundraising thermometer. The fundraising thermometer is a tool used to track the progress of your group’s progress throughout your fundraising campaign.

Groups that set goals for themselves usually do much better and raise more money than groups that don’t have a particular goal in mind. Moreover, groups that have a visual reminder of where they’re at and where they need to be by a certain deadline are more motivated to reach that goal as well.

Finally, fundraising thermometers help your supporters view your progress as well, perhaps also encouraging them to donate a few more bucks to help you reach your goal as you get closer and closer to it.

With the fundraising thermometer being free, there is no reason why any group wouldn’t use one in each of their fundraising campaigns.
