<description>Thanks for your insightful comment, Bill!
I have never worked for a non-profit large
enough to have an employee giving campaign,
but you are absolutely right that the
volunteers who coordinate this important
effort should be sincerely thanked.

We appreciate you reading Step by Step!

<description>As both a volunteer for many organizations and as a non-profit leader, thanks for providing such a succint guidelines on how to treat volunteers.

There&#039;s another category of volunteers who should be thanked by the nonprofits, but usually are not, and those are the volunteers who run and manage workplace giving campaigns. They are hopefully thanked by the management of the sponsoring organization, but since the money raised is for the nonprofits, you would think that they could manage a thank you.

Sincerely,

Bill Huddleston, CFC Expert

The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) has raised more than $1 billion of unrestricted funds for thousands of local, national and international nonprofits over the past five years. How much did your nonprofit receive?
