If you would like to go the <a href="http://charitymile.com">athletic fundraising</a> route, you can participate in an established event on your own, getting pledges just like you would if you were part of a team. It would just need to be an independent event not one produced by another charity. You can get some ideas from other foundations that have similar work, but that don’t overlap with your audience.
