Step By Step Fundraising Newsletter Brought to you by
StepByStepFundraising.com
March 2005

I hope you are having a great week. I’ve been pretty busy, which is why this newsletter is two days tardy.

There’s no time to waste now, so let’s dive in to this month’s newsletter. It’s all about fundraisers that are fun, unusual and some that are just plain weird!

As I mentioned in last month’s issue, I was on the planning committee for a Valentine’s Casino Night fundraiser. My duty on the committee was to plan the corporate sponsor program. I am quite happy to report that because of our sponsors, our fundraiser event expenses were fully covered. (I won’t take all of the credit, the other members of the committee also solicited for sponsors, and some became sponsors themselves!)

To find out more about this event, and why Elvis is still the King visit: Casino Night Fundraiser

The other thing that has kept me busy is reading your success stories! Several of the Step By Step Fundraising Newsletter readers have sent in some incredible stories. I encourage you to check them out, celebrate their successes, and find a few nuggets of wisdom for your own campaigns:

An elementary school on the Carribean island of Curaçao put on a fun Carnival Event.

A high school in California raises money by daring teachers to Kiss a Pig.

Eileen Angel walks 30 miles in the AVON breast cancer walk.

And the strangest fundraisers yet, Cow Bingo and Rooftop Camping.

Finally, If you are looking for Easter Fundraisers, there’s several great Easter fundraising ideas in the news section of the site, including:

** Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
** Chocolate Candy Sales
** AVON Fundraisers
** And more

Well, that’s enough reading to keep you all busy for awhile! I hope you enjoy these
fundraising success stories as much as I did hearing about and writing them.
Remember, I’m always open to hearing more.

Preview of Next Month’s Issue:
During the month of March I will be working on a redesign of the website! When the
new design is launched on April 5th, you’ll see a new look, better organized
sections, and RSS syndication (a new way get updates without email).

I’ll also be giving away over $100 in prizes, as a thank you for giving your feedback
by completing a survey. Be watching for the next newsletter for details!
