Cost to Get Started

The first question most people ask is how much it costs to start a cookie dough fundraiser. We’ve never had anyone dissappointed when we told them there is NO COST to get started.

Just tell us how many people will be selling and we will send you a free brochure and order form for each member of your group. That’s all they’ll need to get started. And it’s FREE.

How Much Will We Make

The second question we’re asked is how much money you’ll make. That’s a difficult question because it depends on how many tubs you sell. The more tubs you sell the lower your cost per tub and the more you make on each tub. The main reason for the price break is the cost of shipping frozen products.

So if you want to know how much money you’ll make from your fundraiser you need to estimate how many tubs your group can sell. Take the profit per tub that quantity will earn you and multiply it times the number of tubs you sold. That will give you the profit you’d earn if you meet your sales goal.

Tips for Selling the Most Cookie Dough

We want everyone to succeed and meet their fundraising goals. So consider the following suggestions before starting your cookie dough fundraiser:

1. Set a goal. It is not unrealistic for each person to sell 10 tubs. But if you don’t tell them what your expectations are they won’t have a goal to shoot for. People really appreciate expectations and quite often live up or down to them. So set a reasonable expectation for each seller before you start.

2. Promote your sale. You can not talk about your fundraiser often enough so error on the side of over talking it. Talk about it, write about, text about, email about it.

3. Manage your sellers. Lots of people hand out the free brochures and 2 weeks later they collect the forms and wonder why their sales were so low. We suggest you have a meeting when you hand out the brochures and get people excited about selling. Be clear about goals at that meeting. Then we believe you should contact your sellers at least 2 times during your sale to make sure they are meeting the goal. Offer encouragement throughout the process.

4. Define the benefits. Hopefully you are raising money for something your sellers care about. If not you will never blow away expectations. If the money raised is being used for the benefit of the sellers be sure they know that and get them excited about the end result of the fundraiser.

Ordering Your Cookie Dough

We suggest you sell for 2 weeks. At the end of your sale collect all the order forms. We suggest you get each seller to tally their order forms together. We offer free online tools for tallying.

Once you’ve collected the order forms you need to tally those together. We also offer free online tools to do that. If you don’t use the online tools we strongly suggest you use a spread sheet like Excel to avoid mistakes.

Each flavor of cookie dough needs to be ordered in full cases that are packed with 6 tubs each. Unfortunately that’s how the cookie dough is packed at the manufacturing plant. So if you sell 29 tubs of Oatmeal Raisin you’d round it up to 30 tubs or 5 cases of 6 tubs.

You can enter your order online or you can call us toll free with your totals.

Delivery Times and Costs

The great news is that shipping is free. We’ve included the cost of shipping in your cost per tub.

As for delivery times the expected lead time is about 2 weeks. We like to deliver on Wednesdays and Thursdays depending on the transit time. We want your cookie dough to spend as little time on a truck as possible and our distribution centers are very skilled at accurate delivery times.

You will be notified in advance of the date and approximate time to expect your cookie dough a few days after you place your order.
