Garage Sale Fundraiser

Last Saturday Sarah, one of our mentors, held a group garage sale at her home. It was rainy early in the morning and we were worried about the turnout. Actually there were quite a few shoppers early in the morning, the "professional garage salers." By late morning it was pretty dead. The total raised at the sale was nearly $200.

The most unusual item for sale was a golf themed lamp: the base was a miniature golf bag and the top was an umbrella. It was quite a conversation piece.
