Another Idea would be "Landing on the Green Par 3" betting.

People will bet on whether they can land there ball with 1 shot in a demarked area around the hole on a par 3!

How you do it is by marking out three circles around a par three hole on the Green that go from small to medium to big. For example a circle that is a marked a metre away from the hole, then one that is wider at say 2.5 metres away from the hole, and the last even wider about 5 metres away from the hole.

Code each circle with a color for easier betting!

Then each circle should have a minimum bet on it with the bets increasing by price the smaller the circle is around the hole. For example $2 for the 5 metre, $4 for the 2.5 metre, and $6 for the 1 metre.

Each circle will then also have a different odd with the odds getting bigger once again for the smaller circles! For example 1:2 for the 5 metre, 1:3 for the 2.5 metre, and 1:3 for the 1 metre. The point is to try and encourage players to go for the smaller circle, which they will be much less likely to hit, and which will mean greater funds raised for you!

The really cool thing about this challenge is that when someone does actually land their ball in one of the circles they are usually so happy and overjoyed for doing it that they just tell you to keep the money.

At the last charity golf day I took part in 8 people landed their balls in the circles they had betted on and only one of them took their winning money!

It's a great idea that's fun and effective!
